Heavenly Bosses

There are countless stories about bosses from hell. Trying goggling it and you’ll get a string of links talking about how crazy and mean bosses can be. Some bosses takes pleasure in making your day a living hell. Go to any bookstore and I bet they have survivals kits providing job survival guide. A classic example of a boss from hell would be Mr Donald Trump.

Mr. Donald Trump

I am more than lucky to have heavenly god sent bosses DOUBLE TIME coz both my bosses are the greatest people ever! Good bosses can make a boring job a fun job. Nothing is worse than a boss that is always acting like they are better than you just because they have an office or higher rank. Good bosses mould great employees who are motivated to make a difference and achieve significant goals in an organization. The most successful managers understand this and put their people before everything.

3 signs of a cool boss are they take an interest in your career, they ask for feedback and they are your friend, at work. It makes total sense for your boss to take an interest in your career within the company, but a great manager takes an interest in your entire career. Feedbacks are essential in the working environment and there is no better way to achieve continuous improvement than getting constant feedback. No one wants all business, all the time. A cool boss understands this and finds common ground with his employees. A good boss understands this and makes a point to keep the friendship at work.

This post is dedicated to 2 of my great bosses (from my previous work place and my current work place). Thanks for grooming me into a great employee and helping me grow to be an even better individual! Kudos guys!

Mr Brad Chuah from Dell APCC

Mr Sabri from Renesas Semiconductor Malaysia.

Coincidentally both Brad and Sabri were school mates from PFS a very long time ago..
Today also happens to be Mr. Sabri’s birthday!! So HaPpY BirthDay boss!

How accurate are online quizzes?

Was just surfing around and i found this website with at least a few hundred personality quizzes. Ranging from "How Sexy Are You?" quizzes to "How Fit Are You?", they have got it all. No clue how accurate all this hocus pocus is, so i just randomly tried one out.

'What Season Are You Quiz'

'Intelligent, introspective, and quite expressive at times...
You appreciate the changes in color, climate, and mood that autumn brings.
Whether you're carving wacky pumpkins or taking long drives, autumn is a favorite time of year for you'.

I guess that explains it all. Online quizzes can be pretty accurate. Can start saving the money on fortune telling coz this online quizzes seem to be working just as fine.

Beliefs

"Beliefs are the foundation of our lives. If your beliefs are empowering they allow you to achieve almost anything- if they're limiting then almost everything will seem like a massive challenge and invariably you'll find dead ends that'll reinforce your negative beliefs. Mind you, an empowering belief won't instantly ensure success but it does pave the way for the possibility of great outcomes".

By John McGrath-You Don't Have to be Born Brilliant.
You Don't Have to be Born Brilliant is about achieving magnificence in every area of your life.

An inspiring motivational book. It makes waking up in the morning for work a lil bit easier.

Uniforms

Almost all of us, at some point in life would have worn uniforms. Be it in during school days or when you’re at work. I have worn several uniforms throughout this lifetime.

Occupations which which requires wearing uniforms are often deemed as sexy and attractive.

Think Nurses

Think Air Stewardess

Think school uniform.

This has gotta be the ugliest looking uniform that I have ever seen!

I am currently working in a Japanese MNC and they have freaking uniforms for its employees. This is totally not my style! BleHhH~~~

Life’s a road and I wanna keep going.

In life, it’s the journey that counts not its destination. Many of us, do not savor the moment as we’re too caught up worrying about what ifs and what will be. Perhaps it is the hurried pace of life that we all go through that blinds us from the simple pleasures of life-ie taking a step back and just enjoy what we have, the beauty of the journey in front of our very own eyes.

We all have hopes and dreams, thinking that when we achieve them we will be tad bit happier. But when we have finally achieved them, more than often we would be all set to achieve new things. It will be a never-ending chase, like a dog chasing its own tail. This is not to say that we should all just lay back and be complacent with life. Life’s a ball, so lets get spinning!

This is the place where a moment in time is frozen..
